Forum move - Shadowfang - 02-21-2012

Hi all.

Sorry for the short notice, but to solve all the 503 errors and reduced bandwith, we're force to move the forum to a different server.

This means that our IP address will change from 184.154.228.19 to 184.154.88.178. But we'll stay on neoarkcradle.net/forum.
The move will take about 12 hours.
Any posts made between now and 23:40 CET might be lost, as during the next 12 hours there will be 2 forums up and running and you might be directed to either one as the address neoarkcradle.net is moved from one IP address to the other.

But if you can read this post, you should already be looking at the new server.

I'm really sorry for the inconvenience, but this is the only way we can ensure these pesty 503s will stop and we can all go back to enjoying the forum.

Is it just me, or are any of you other guys and gals having threads not clear their being marked as 'new' no matter how many times you look at the threads? Cause the announcement, mangas, card discussion, and fan club threads claim there's something new... Even though I've cleared them of everything new...
Not sure this is where to ask this question, but I thought it was relevant.

I think it's the result of the forum move. While I can see why it would be a nuisance, it's nothing to worry about in the long run. Probably just the forum "resetting" as we moved servers.

So, uh, is this the $29.99 server, or just another one like the one before it? If the latter, does that mean we run the risk of the same 503 shit happening again?

Thanks for the update, Shadow. I'm glad to see that we updated to a new server. I haven't noticed anything unusual as a result of the move, but I haven't been checking out a lot of threads here during the last twenty-four hours.
