I believe this goes to the "Current Events" section though. The "Announcements & News" refer to news only pertaining to the forum I believe. Maybe a mod can help shift it?

Anyway, I signed the petition. Definitely do not want SOPA to get passed.

As Ghost said, yeah, this section is for forum related news and announcements, like announcing downtimes, upgrades, etc.

Since the Net Neutrality thread exists in the Current Events section, and you have also posted in there, I don't see the need to move this thread, so I'll just lock it.
